aRE YOU WITH ME?  by  tim Singiswa
Would you have been my child I would have responded by giving you an ultimatum to invent, create or design something to show that my money went into a worthy cause in taking you to varsity or take you out to go and go sell cellphone accessories at intersections.

vARSITTIES ARE INSTITUTIONS OF HUMAN DEVELOPMENT FOR SELF-RELIANCE AND SUFFICIENCY.wHEN I was doing my first year semester I already felt developed and I thought of what can I offer companies there and I thought of those companies I have received poor service and I wrote to them offering my services to come and train their staff in "Business Communication".

As a varsity student or graduate you are a leader, inventor, designer, educator and creator if you are expecting favours because you`re a varsity learner then its a waste of time to educate you.

Whites of my time created their own creative subliminal and subtle jobs before they graduate. They use their pocket money to travel the world to broaden their minds and acquire expertise that was not available in the country and turn that into a carreer.

Sit down and think long and hard and come up with a solution to your problem.May you stop being a nuiance but a valuable and dutiful being to the country and society.

Re: are you with me?  by  karabo maimane
sir.. i hear what you are saying and personally i have come up with somethig i know that a certain market is lacking but what i am saying when forming this forum is that are there opportunities in the traditional corporate world because since my first year ive been aproaching marketing companies, advertising agencies etc etc offering my services sometimes e3ven for free!! and let us be realistic about 1 thing not everyone was born to be an entreprenur and develop some or other briliant product/service some people are just mean t for the 9-5 job scenario and all im saying is that are the guys that have made it already helping those that are not so fortunate or are trying to make thier mark, developing themselves or are they simply ignoring them yes it is a harsh world out there but when has helping another person killed anyone???? and another reason for starting this forum was that you see companies such as eskom,PWC, law firms etc who take interest in st6udents studying towards their areas of business but you hardly see it happen in marketing except if you're at the AAA school of advertising astudying ADVERTISING hardly ever in marketing and im trying to understand why that is?? and how this "problem" can be overcome.

Wakeup,my broer!  by  loser.com
To go into advertising is simple as ABC.All you do is to compose a lyric to go with an ad and take it in for testing.

Dube or some other bloke out there did it for coke and it was accepted and he became a household name.Be a part of the solution and not a part of the problem.Opportunities are abounding out there and you just need to tap on to them.I cautioned you over and over to stop toyitoying but prepare yourselves for the aftermaths of studying.

University trains you to create, innovate and invent and if you can`t you belong to the kerbs washing cars.

To a real loser.com
So what inventing, creating and innovating have you done lately? All that's being asked is that the average Joe - who is yet to make his above average break - who is not entreprenurial or yet ready to take a big risk - be given the opportunity to learn within a safe environment. Were you never given that opportunity?
