Mobile branding ahead   by  Vuyo Tofile

With regard to CRM, database management and all the numerous and neccessary elements of marketing and advertising, I unequivocally can not understand for the life of me, WHY, no IT genius with marketing and branding know-how has not or is not think of mobile branding. I for noe have pondered on the advent of mobile brands - and by this I refer to cellular phone software for brands. I would extrapolate on this but if its not obvious then....you ( the intrepid IT-cum-brand/marketing specialist) are not worth becoming the next Mark Shuttleworth. If this obvious yet last uncharted brand and marketing frontier sparks an idea, then conquer away. If not drop me an email, I shall elaborate - thrust me if your limitations are only exceeded by your imagination then we are playing for the same team. BRANDS can exist on the celluar phone and make those software savvy a tidy sum- believe me!

Bullying and automation  by  Mark Walmsley
In my experience, the single biggest barrier to the development of new business is the simple fact that not enough of the right people know about, or can recall to mind, my business/product/service.

I sell website development and eMarketing services mainly but not exclusively to the Arts sector in the UK, which tend to be subject to annual budgets. New annual budgets don't always kick in at the same time of the year so it is easy for a potential client to find website development at the top of their 'to do' list and the name WebProjects at the bottomn of their memory!.

A tool that helped track and remind the saleperson of the imminence of new funds and sent out a simple reminder email automatically would be useful.

wouldn't it be nice if people could pay their Edgars, Foschini and Woolies accounts via their cellphones..??

wouldn't it be nice to have an alternative to month-end queues in Accounts Depts...
