That ad is not new dummy!
That ad is not new and it has been around for quite some time now, and guy try to pay attention to detail and maybe you will get the concept of the ad, and see how the horse relates to the deodorant.

Shut the heck up!
Its clear you are clueless as to what a good ad looks and sounds like. Since your taste for quality ads(and probably programs in general)sits in your a**, save your comments for people who care......that is if you have anyone who cares about what you say, which I doubt.

I think  by  Assume
The ad is very clever ....I also think it is you who are not clever because you clearly don't get it.

Can we get to the point pls?
All right, has everyone finished name-calling and b****ing at everyone else? Now maybe we can get to the point of the ad without having to **** all over someone else because they don't get it. It doesn't make you smarter being up on your "I get it and you don't" high horse, btw (no pun intended). You just look like arrogant SOBs - just explain the dam* thing to someone who is looking to be enlightened by your apparent knowledge.

And now that my tirade is done...

It seems the original poster hasn't taken note of the cost of the deodorant - I know I've tried to close my eyes and not pay too much attention to the price whenever the little green bottle went through the till... How do you justify forking out over R30 for deo? Which is exactly what the ad is trying to do... They're telling you that in order to get quality, expect to pay more. As for the actual product, you folks can decide for yourselves...

Isn't the guy in the ad dead?
I read sometime in December that the guy in the Mitchum ad passed away after a motorbike accident. Can somebody pls confirm this? And if he is dead shouldn't the advertisers stop this ad? I mean isn't it a decent thing to do?

For What?
Do you think that everytime an actor / celeb dies they will stop the ad / movie??
Dont be ridiculous...
And if anything, they will be seen on TV and remembered...
What, should the stop showing Isiding now cause Ashlet died?

the story behind the horse  by  Jannie
They're just saying: " Our product is costly, yet effective!"

I'll make my point in a different way
Its not about not understanding the ad. I get what they are trying to say through the ad but what is stupid is the way they tried to get the message across. Surely a professional advertiser can come up with a better way to get the message across. So to clear things up, its not about the message itself its about the way the message was supose to be given across.

simply put  by  Simon
for quality you would/should expect to pay more. that product is expensive as it is of great quality and therefore one would pay more if it was of high quality and costed very little one would question it and its quality....done deal.and yes Antonio Summerton did pass away late last year....no they shouldn't opt to remove the add cos one is no longer with us...
