Phat Joe became popular and his show on YFM was the best because he was controversial, funny and brought an american style of presenting on South African Radio but now he is just back-announcing songs.Back then many people liked him but the few who hated him did that with passion, like what is happening to Chilli M today.Jeff Moloi and his crew were doing a good job before Phat Joe came on board because I was able to laugh and be entertained and informed while driving to work in the morning.Phat Joe's style of presenting makes it easier to predict what he is going to say before he opens his mouth. The excitement will soon die.
I disagree with u Matshidiso, u must remember that Kayafm is not a station for controversial presenters and people who r still looking for fame.I think Phat Joe is doing well @ Kaya but I'm not sure about his combination with Jeff & Stevie B.I think he needs to get his own sidekick and the other guys must only focus on sports, business, traffic and news.
