Many's the time I've had to fix faux-pas resulting from clients using tools like Google Translate to translate business documents from French to English. As a native speaker of both languages, I can tell you how horribly wrong these tools get it - they provide poor literal translations and are incapable of correctly interpreting idioms and turns of phrase particular to a language, and cannot get subject-verb agreement and conjugations right. Do. Not. Use.
Technology can help us with our business but at the same time, could pose harmful risks as well. Competitors who are highly advanced and tech-savvy will definitely have an upperhand. That is why we need to regularly get updated about the evolving technological world and stay on par with others within the same field. We wouldn’t want our business to lose out and eventually have to pack our moving boxes just because we lost our customers to our rivals.
Desiree, thanks for bringing out the content curation craziness and the remedies to tackle these. At Netcurate.com - we took the content engagement to a whole new level - in addition to what you mentioned above, we feel that content sometimes can be very boring. So, we tried to make content more interactive and engaging. We are working with brands who are now not pressured to produce meaningless content just for the sake of it, but leverage appropriate content and focus on engagement.

People often refer to Google Analytics as "free" though it is not. Customers of Google Analytics need to understand the reality that Google trades the tool for the data collected from it. As such, it is really "publisher sponsored." Though I agree with you that companies can manage the differences between what GA collects and what their "paid" tool collects, most won't and there will be an ongoing dialog as to why the numbers are different. In my experience, this is in and of itself a full time job as there will always be people in the organization wondering why these disparities between GA and the other tool exist.Though you bring up some good reasons for keeping GA, an organization needs to balance that with the value of their data (generally this is significant) as well as the ongoing education that the digital marketing team will need to provide to their constituencies on the disparity of the reports. It is not an easy decision but it should be completely thought through, each pro and con agonized over before simply blindly leaving the GA code on the page, in effect, paying twice (once with cash and once with data value) for their digital analytics.
Preach it! I absolutely agree and have been saying so for a while now. I suspect I'm going to copy/paste and send this around going "See, it's not just me! Duh!" :)
It is always better to attend an expo such as this one in comparison to visiting individual stores separately. Having almost everything under one roof makes it so much easier for you to compare prices for all the various things you need for your home solutions. It really helps to save a lot of time and hassle and it is bound to attract many homeowners, be it new or current ones.
Diversification is really so important whe nyou're trying to get a foothold in property rent and leasing, I remember having to hire out moving boxes so that I could keep most of my stuff in storage while working out the property spaces I wanted to open up...
