4 tips for a successful online marketing strategy
Good post Boris. As for having a plan, we completely agree with that but also find it's pretty important to stay flexible and agile. The old adage about the best laid plans not surviving first contact still holds true, and when that happens you need to be ready to change and adapt your strategy to work with your new reality or opportunities to market your company or promote your campaign may just pass you buy. Plan, but plan for change as well!

It's a boys club. And old boys' club. Not what you know, but who you know. Pussy power needs to get ahead and add value, after all, 51% of the population is female. And yes, I'm a guy.

African research dominated by mobile, social media
I have used digital data collection for a project for the first time this year as it seemed logical, as the penetration was limited and across rural areas. I had comparisons for similar studies conducted 2 years previously conducted in the old fashioned face to face basis. The company uses data drawn from cell phones provided by service providers, and once someone responds they are invited to be on the panel. I am also on the panel to see how it works and get regular requests for participation in on-line surveys. I was surprised at the high level of subscribers for one particular response, as it did not correspond with previous studies and had me worried, to the extent that I intend to replicate the study in one province on a face to face basis to check that the data I am getting is reliable and not generated by "panel participation impetus". I am suspicious of the results and this disturbs me. If I can query something as important as this, how can I be sure of the rest. Does this not necessairly apply to all digitally collected data that is conducted by the large fieldwork agencies who work across Africa? Its the easiest method of data collection these days. But?

Take back control of your data from Google
I think what's already done that's done, there's no way to take back what services like Google already has on us, but it's better to start protecting yourself later than never. Maybe I'm a little paranoid, but I don't trust any major companies and their products, so whenever I need something - I try to find a smaller reliable service. Now I use Surfshark VPN for securing my online traffic, and so far I don't have any issues with bypassing any content restrictions, and the speed looks pretty decent. Of course, I need to test it more, but I think it will have my recommendation.

Harnessing the power of data in facilities management
If the managers need to find waste, weaknesses and opportunities amidst all of their data, then they would probably need a huge storage solution to hold all of that in. They need to know which is the most efficient way to gain access to all of the info needed to be extracted. Without properly harnessing the ready data, nothing useful can be obtained from it. A proper process needs to be executed to surround the usage of the data and its conservation methods.

R37.5m biorefinery facility launched in Durban to extract maximum value from biomass waste
This facility would get to help various other services as well to improve on their operations. The investment on the launching of this facility benefits other sectors too which is the main aim to begin with. It is a platform for the various sectors to get a little assistance regardless of how small it might be. At the end of the day, the industries can see a difference made as a result of this initiative.

Amsterdam workspace concept comes to SA
I imagine that there are a lot of home-based business owners who would be very happy to have access to services like this. Especially if they are trying to present themselves in a more corporate light. There are lots of options for self storage and all of that, but when it comes to an actual professional business space, the alternatives to a café can be pretty thin. I reckon that this business idea will really see itself take off once the spaces are available for rent...

Harnessing the power of data in facilities management
I remember when I just came out of university that we were learning small aspects of how to better manage your company with all sorts of systems being implemented to pinpoint areas of the business that needed work or could be focused on the increase efficiency. I reckon I could apply some of those and then some to improve my self storage services now come to think of it - we all need to try to keep improving in some way or another right?

R37.5m biorefinery facility launched in Durban to extract maximum value from biomass waste
I really enjoy reading about how some of these new industries are going along the lines of efficiency. We used to be so liberal with our use of the resources on Earth and it's only now that we're starting to see that the materials in storage are dwindling that we are realising that we have to pay the price for our callousness when it comes to consumption! It's a good direction for all of us to be moving towards I reckon!
