Google still be a leader for internet search for next many years. Google managers are very good. So, they know how to drive Google going to be the best one.
You forgot to write about paid website traffic, I think it needs a mention. I know alot of companies in the past were using automated bots but thats then and this is now.I recently bought 10,000 visitors from and even made some conversions.
You're dead right about the importance of a targeted mobile site, specially constructed. We did this recently and I can't believe how much easier it is to use on smartphones (and how pleased Google was with it!).
Joseph i must agree when u say:"campaigns stimulating desire but they fall short on the action part of the Awareness-Interest-Desire-Action (AIDA) framework." Check my article on my LinkedIn profile- We're no longer ad agencies, we're Ad Engagencies"From Colin g Morris - the Creative Pitch doctor across Africa
Well put Mogorisi..."When we, as communication strategists, start becoming the consumer with which we are trying to communicate, the better advocates we will become." I've been banging this drum for a while now. The planner represents the consumer, client the product, while agency is the interpreter! From Colin g Morris - the Creative Pitch doctor across Africa
All very well but even so-called women-friendly brands misjudge many of us. Take Dove's propensity for thrusting armpits at us. (Take it AWAY - it's enough already!). Like many consumers, I vote with my wallet and, these days, feminist or not, Dove's definitely not for me.
Is AMPS definitely doomed then? This is really bad new if it's true; you don't throw away gold when you have it in your hand! Leaving it to research houses and companies will simply result in more phony data circulating due to insufficient sample sizes and commercial bias.
What a fantastic article. Any company that does not yet have a Press Office on Bizcommunity.com is at a disadvantage......so, don't delay - call me, Dries Badenhorst @ 021 680 3500 so that I can hook you up:-)
Word! This is more an opportunity than something to complain about.. I work on my digital strategies and growth hacking everyday.. Thanks for the article and figures, I find them very valuable.. I think the one thing that has really kept us back, is the severe delay we've suffered from going analogue to digital.. Internet and TV have merged all around the globe except here, I wonder why? Oh wait... We all know the answer to that.. Once Africa Time has caught up and evolved to the digital flow then these figures will change a lot! How much do you know about the whole Video-On-Demand Revolution that's changed the entire global economies of scale over the last 18 months? As an independent producer, this is the one BIGGIE that keeps me awake at night.. Go Figure :)
