Liberty gets involved with primary school education
Last year, the Department of Basic Education (DBE) released the results of their Annual National Assessment (ANA) which focused on the numeracy and literacy levels for Grades 3 and 6. The results were alarmingly low with Grade 3 literacy and numeracy at 35% and 28% respectively and Grade 6 levels at 28% for literacy and 30% for numeracy. 24 May 2012 16:42
