[Cannes Lions judges] Where to start - the entries, the work, or the place?
[Cannes Lions Judges Blog] Janet Kinghorn: Cannes itself has not changed since I was here last in 1999. Men and women still wander up and down Le Croisette in white linen suits and fancy dresses. But the difference this time is that design is really starting to become a big player here.

[Cannes Lions judges] Cannes through the eyes of a Media Lions judge
[Cannes Lions Judges Blog] Chris Botha: My Cannes experience so far can be broken up into two categories – life and work. Life being these beautiful experiences that we are lucky enough to experience, and work being, well, the work. The real reason we’re actually here.

Two hundred, young, bright minds in one place
[Abey Mokgwatsane] I was at the Mail & Guardian Top 200 South Africans launch last week. I was there because I was fortunate enough to make the list in this year’s business category. [ICOM] Conclusions...
[Josh Adler] It's over and I'm pretty knackered. I can happily blame the few guys I went out with last night; an evening rounding off on a high note what has been an interesting conference experience. The conversation into the early hours was deep and intellectual, focusing mainly on past episodes of Top Gear, horseracing and worst cities in the world, while some of us lost money at the roulette table.

Deuriemikke 2009 shows Player 23 message in action
[Ilva Pieterse] That long-awaited sense of spring hit me like a bass drum on the N4 as I headed into Hatfield, Pretoria. From the highway, I caught my first glimpse of the annual Jacaranda 94.2 Deuriemikke Karnaval and the swelling crowd on Tukkies' LC de Villiers sportsgrounds.
