[AdForum Worldwide Summit] Preview from IAS
[Johanna McDowell] NEW YORK CITY: I arrived in New York City yesterday for the 2012 AdForum Worldwide Summit – a 16-hour flight and then a four-hour delay at Kennedy Airport - their officials were on a go-slow – trying to prove a point ahead of the elections. Does that sound familiar?

[AdForum Worldwide Summit] The Big Apple, 14-19 October 2012
[Johanna McDowell] I will be blogging once again this year from the AdForum Worldwide Summit in New York City Summit next week, 14 – 19 October 2012. It is a seriously busy agenda – and, as always, it is brilliant for us to have access to the worldwide CEOs of the agencies we meet.

[SxSW 2012] Part II: Shrink it and pink it
[trigger/isobar goes to SxSW] Karin Botta: Although SXSW is a tech conference, one of the things that resonated quite strongly with me is a talk I attended on Saturday morning, 10 March 2012, called ‘Designing Experiences for Women’, where the speakers discussed the stereotypes that marketers often fall into using when communicating to groups of people, specifically women.

[SIGGRAPH 2011] Day 3 – the prize
[Rafi Leigh] VANCOUVER, CANADA: Getting here to Vancouver seemed desperately important. I knew that technologists were finally connecting the dots. I put all other new business strategies on hold, and made a 16 653lm beeline for the SIGGRAPH convention, where I knew I would find nuggets of wisdom running along the seam lines of emerging tech and creative genius.
