[140 BBDO goes to Cannes] Michael Pearson: Today we were lucky enough to spend some time with Terry Savage – the chairman of the Cannes Awards. He is an Australian who has the unenviable task of organising the biggest ad fest in the world.

[Cannes Lions 2012] Arriving in Cannes
[140 BBDO goes to Cannes] Michael Pearson: "Cheers! Bye! Have a jol! Good luck!" ...and then…27 hours after leaving our loved ones behind, we finally arrived in Cannes (via Istanbul and some unforeseen delays).

[Cannes Lions 2012] 140 BBDO’s predictions for South Africa in 2012
[140 BBDO goes to Cannes] Michael Pearson: A disclaimer before I begin - these predictions for 2012 South African Cannes Lions winners are based on our opinions, combined with the results of the various award shows that happen earlier in the year than Cannes. The good comes with the bad
[Gill Moodie] Like Paris Hilton, I had occasion to frequent a South African court house this past week. It might have been a simpler affair if I too had been nicked on the wrong side of a dagga cloud but, alas, I was paying a traffic fine for a lapsed car-licence disc.
