Westcon offers 40% off Creative Cloud

From 1 June, 2014, Adobe will no longer be providing/selling CS6 via the Cumulative Licensing Programme (CLP) or the Transactional Licensing Programme (TLP), a change that will be applicable worldwide across the commercial and government sectors, while the education sector remains the same.
Westcon offers 40% off Creative Cloud

"Creative Cloud is an amazing innovation that allows the creativity and idea sharing that burgeoning enterprises need to have in order to prosper. Enterprises that migrate to Creative Cloud before 30 May, 2014, will get 40% off Creative Cloud for teams and 33% off Creative Cloud single apps, which is a bargain," said Bishen Gosai, Adobe channel manager of Westcon. "CS6 products will remain available for individual purchase via electronic software download as well as via licensing for education customers. Acrobat and other Adobe products sold via CLP and TLP will also remain available."

Over 500 new features

In May last year, Adobe announced that Creative Cloud is Adobe's platform for innovation for creativity and that CS6 was its last perpetual software release. Since then, Westcon's vendor partner has delivered over 500 new features exclusively to Creative Cloud members. Membership to Creative Cloud gives enterprises and their employees access to the very latest versions of the Adobe professional creative desktop applications plus new features and upgrades as soon as they are available.

Gosai elaborated: "As BYOD thrives, Adobe provides its users with Creative Cloud, a product that allows them to safely access their files anywhere and easily share ideas with clients or colleagues. With cloud-based services, enterprises and individuals can build and publish websites, mobile apps, iPad publications and content for any medium or device.

"At Westcon we are proud to play a part in bringing about local availability of Adobe's latest innovations, which we believe are set to revolutionise the mobile workplace."

Creative Cloud sales have sky rocketed with 1.8 million paid Creative Cloud members worldwide today. With many customers migrating to Creative Cloud, discontinuing CS6 from TLP/CLP simplifies Adobe's creative offerings.
