    Gumede to hit Survé with R1bn lawsuit

    According to BD Live, Technology billionaire Robert Gumede plans to sue Sekunjalo executive chair Iqbal Survé and Independent Newspapers for a massive R1bn, and according to TechCentral, Communications minister Yunus Carrim says MultiChoice is a bully.

Duncan McLeod, writing in TechCentral, says that "Communications minister Yunus Carrim has lashed out at MultiChoice over its open letter to him in which it has accused him of advancing 'certain narrow commercial interests'." Carrim is reported to have said that government can't be "constantly bullied" by a "monopoly".
