TNM Mobile Company introduces free communication promotion

While Celtel Malawi Limited is gearing up for brand name changes, its rival company TNM Limited has launched a promotion that will allow its subscribers make free calls from July 30 to August 31 this year.

TNM acting chief commercial officer, Charles Kamoto said the promotion will help ease communication burden while at the same time inculcating a communication culture in Malawians.

Kamoto said subscribers will participate in the promotion each time they recharge with at least 100 units any time of the day and then they will be able to make free calls from 11pm to 5am in the morning.

“Each call will be restricted to 15 minutes to allow everyone to make a call. But one can make as many calls as possible even to the same number,” explained Kamoto when the company launched the promotion last Tuesday.

During Malawi's independence celebration on July 6 this year, TNM offered a similar facility and Kamoto said the response they received has encouraged the company to come up with this promotion.
