    Zuku TV is inviting submissions for feature-length Swahili films for broadcast on Zuku Swahili Movies, described as 'a premium movie channel tailor made for all audiences within the East African region'.

    The channel seeks to respond to strong consumer demand for Africa-produced and Africa-themed programming and prides itself on the quality of its output.

    Submissions should be bold, ambitious, original and should bring a fresh outlook to East African television content. The concept should have a broad viewer appeal and possess the ability to travel across the continent. The cast must be fluent in Swahili and may include characters from across Africa.

    Proposal

    Proposals can target either a family or mature audience and should contain the following information:

    • A Synopsis
    • Full script
    • Character/cast biographies
    • Detailed treatment and approach
    • Production schedule
    • Key production personnel
    • A preliminary budget

    • Language: Kiswahili. To be subtitled in English
    • Duration: 90-120 minutes per film
    • Target audience: Broad international appeal
