Well-known for its on-hands training methodology in corporate communications, Quo Vadis Communications will shortly announce dates for a new series in 2008. This follows another successful year in which the company earned high praise from new clients who attended the courses and expanded established business relations.
In the tradition of offering intensive and interactive courses, five organisational communication courses and one radio scriptwriting course were completed last year. Course facilitators used their expertise to equip communicators for today's challenges in business communication and in the media industry.
According to Cameron Naidoo, an advertising scriptwriter at 94.7, the radio scriptwriting course more than accomplished this goal: "It was an excellent course for the modern radio industry."
“The response to the outline of our courses was exceptional,” says Theo Coggin, executive chairman of Quo Vadis Communications. “However, it didn't surprise me as it is an outcome of our particular philosophy, which is based on meeting clients' specific needs.”
The final course of 2007 was a Nedbank organisational communication course, which “every communicator should attend”, as participant Zelda Hughes put it. In order to meet the needs of the participants the course was tailor made for the client. Quo Vadis offers this possibility to adapt content and outline to different target audiences.
Samantha van der Berg expresses how much the course benefited the participants: “Quo Vadis' course allows you to expand and test your own abilities." Colleague Elizabeth Florencio adds: “Great content and exceptionally experienced presenters!”
Several courses are already planned this year, with venues possibly including Maputo, Cape Town and Durban.
