Cobus Oelofse, CEO of the iLembe Chamber, says, that the vehicle sponsorship was yet another symbol of the commitment and involvement of Avis with the local business community in the iLembe district of KZN.
"Avis is a long standing corporate member of the iLembe Chamber and through the availability of the sponsored vehicle Avis will further extend its involvement in developing smaller businesses which operate within the informal economies of rural areas. The slogan displayed on the vehicle, 'Driving Business Together', could not have been more appropriate and reflects the passion of both Avis and the Chamber," added Oelofse.
The Chamber's Business Support Centre outreach programme, together with the local Economic Development Department, implements workshops, seminars, business clinics and one-on-one sessions to remote businesses.
