    Arterial Network reveals ACEC website

Created by artist Jepchumba of African Digital Art, the new Arterial Network African Creative Economy Conference (ACEC) website is designed to facilitate the browsing of Arterial Network's past conferences and makes accessible the presentations of each edition.

ACEC is an annual gathering that highlights the role of culture in sustainable development. Co-hosted by the Association Racines/Arterial Network Morocco, the 4th edition of the ACEC will take place in Rabat, at the National Library of the Kingdom of Morocco, from 13-15 November 2014. The conference has fast become a leading networking platform for artists and practitioners in Africa, and a unique opportunity for various stakeholders to discuss and explore the state of the creative sector within a broader global context.

Peter Rorvik, Secretary General of Arterial Network, states: "The ACEC sets new standards in terms of knowledge-exchange as it unpacks the latest creative economy research and features prominent leaders from Africa's cultural sectors, across disciplines and fields. The launch of the website enables prospective participants to register for this year's rendezvous in Morocco."

Pictures, videos, debates and articles display the conference's diversity as it rotates through a different African region each year, having taken place in Nairobi (2011), Dakar (2012) and Cape Town (2013).

Arterial Network's 4th African Creative Economy conference is supported by the Ministry of Culture of Morocco, the Doen Foundation, the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Organisation Internationale de la Francophonie, l'Institut Français, the British Council, EUNIC Rabat, the Heinrich Böll Foundation and other valued partners.
