    Shining a spotlight on women executives, entrepreneurs, and organisations run by women, the KZN Businesswomen's Association announced the results of its 2014 women achievers on Friday, 6 June 2014 - held in celebration of the winners of the 2014 Regional Business Achiever Awards.

    Tsogo Sun is thrilled to announce that Samantha Croft, general manager of the Southern Sun Elangeni & Maharani complex topped the corporate category and was recognised as the leading woman in corporate in KwaZulu-Natal.

    The Businesswomen's Achiever Awards is a regional competition produced by the creators of the Businesswomen's Association of South Africa and is considered to be the most prestigious award which highlights and applauds the high achieving women of the province. These awards actively seek to identify, acknowledge and cultivate entrepreneurs, corporate and professional women leader in the various regions.

    "It is indeed a great honour to receive this prestigious award. I am grateful to my team for all their support. I really could not have achieved this without them," says Croft.

    With more than 500 businesswomen and their guests in attendance, the awards were announced at a gala dinner at the Inkosi Albert Luthuli International Conference Centre (ICC).

    Now in its 13th year, the Regional Business Achiever Awards is spearheaded by chairperson, Farzanah Mall and aims to empower women leaders in various industries.
