Lagos hosts Social Media Week

February 2013 will mark the inaugural Social Media Week on the continent of Africa. Social Media Week Lagos brings together thought leaders, creatives, entrepreneurs and everyday citizens from Nigeria and throughout the continent and the diaspora - to explore how people and organisations are connecting to share new ideas and information.
Lagos hosts Social Media WeekSocial Media Week is a worldwide event exploring the social, cultural and economic impact of social media. The Lagos edition will consist of 10 events from 18-22 February 2013.

We recognise that through collaboration we can deepen our knowledge, share ideas and inspire each other to take full advantage of the incredible opportunities in front of us." says Toby Daniels, founder and executive director of Social Media Week.
