Vellios explains that the water takes ten years to cross the different layers of granite that filter it and enrich it with mineral salts, endowing it with the properties that have made it the market leader in Portugal's sparkling waters industry.
Whilst the brands enjoy world renown, Vellios stresses that local expertise will be the key to success in the Mozambican market. "An outstanding product is a great start but it is important to understand the legislation, ordinances, political environment, networks and infrastructure of Mozambique. The company netted this distributor contract based on its ability to meet all of these requirements and its reputation as a market leader in Mozambique, built up over almost two decades."
