Created by Caroline Hillary and Painter Jane, the newly launched Tickyboximages.co.za/com is an African image bank that aims to provide a platform for African photographers on which to profile their talent, as well as providing the publishing, advertising and commercial industries a better quality image for their buck.
Tickyboximages will only platform work that is shot on the continent and is adamant about keeping the photographers local too. “This continent has such incredible imagery and the right talent to document it,” says Hillary. “We're hoping the photographers can grow from being showcased on the site, as well as make some money for all their hard work.”
