The magazine's new look has new features, including reports, columns and extra fashion, beauty and food pages will be phased in over the next couple of issues. The June issue includes an exclusive interview with former First Lady, Graça Machel, as its cover feature, where she discusses New Faces, New Voices Network, her initiative to change the face of Africa's financial industry. It also includes the third annual Good Schools and Business Schools Report, which examines the state of education in the country and profiles South Africa's best performing private, public and business schools.

'Beyond Markets' launches on 7 June 2010 in the prime time evening slot - 8pm to 9pm and will be seen in the 6am to 7am slot from 8 June. Lerato Mbele will host it from Johannesburg and Wole Famurewa from Lagos. They, in tandem with thought-leaders, newsmakers and African experts will discuss issues such as economic policy, regulation, infrastructure, diversification, private-sector growth, politics and leadership.

Emphasis on east and west Africa

Another change on the morning schedule is an extended and newly structured version of the morning markets show 'Open Exchange'. Starting half an hour earlier at 8am, with Eleni Giokos, Stephen Gunnion and Alishia Seckam, the show now gives greater prominence to the two other main markets regions on the continent - East and West Africa. From 8am to 8.30am, the focus is on East Africa, then from 8.30-9.30am, the South African JSE is the focus remains followed by Open Exchange West Africa from 9.30-10am.
