Media watchdog welcomes Ghana's right-based court

A sub-regional media freedom body, Media Foundation for West Africa (MFWA), on Thursday welcomed the creation of a Human Rights Court in Ghana.

A MFWA communiqué received by PANA signed by the organisation's executive director, Prof. Kwame Karikar read: "MFWA could not agree more with the Chief Justice as the setting up of the court will increase the human rights protection and awareness in the country."
