[Festival of Media] All the 2010 awards winners

VALENCIA, SPAIN: Despite a volcano and an almost total shutdown of Europe's airspace, the Festival of Media Awards took place as planned, following the two-day Festival of Media 2010. The awards took place on Tuesday evening, 20 April 2010, at Valencia's City of Arts & Sciences, Spain.
The awards are billed by the organisers as an “entirely new breed of award” and are aimed at conferring not only prestige on the winners in the various categories, but also worldwide recognition.

And the winners are:

  • Creative Use of Media
    Winner: Farfar/Isobar - The World's Largest Signpost
    Commended: Mediacom Turkey - Man On Tree, Wieden+Kennedy - Livestrong

  • Consumer Benefit Award
    Winner: Starcom Australia - Pedigree Dog Adoption
    Commended: UM London, Computertan, Havas Media - Green Britain Day.

  • Best Use of Digital Landscape
    Winner: OMD Singapore - Intel Swarm
    Commended: Mediacom China - Lohas Social Networking, Mindshare US - Double Pits To Chesty

  • Best Consumer Driven Campaign
    Winner: Havas Media Mexico - Huevos
    Commended: Mediacom India - Shave India Movement, Initiative US - How Do You Eat Your Burger?

  • The Effectiveness Award
    Winner: Havas Media - Urbania
