As South Africa is hosting the 60th IPRA World Congress and Exhibition in September 2015 in Sandton, the Congress has brought the IPRA GWA to its shores. Besides being the highest honour a public relations practitioner can achieve, it is an opportunity to highlight the talent and abilities of the practitioners and the industry provides clients on a daily basis.
Each year, a jury of experienced communication professionals judge the entries and nominates the best of the best. Winners are selected based on unique merit, relevance, concrete objectives, creative strategies and tactics, and demonstrable results. With over 30 categories ranging from crisis management to consumer products, the GWA attracts hundreds of entrants from around the globe.
For PRISA and PRCC members the registration and fees to the IPRA Congress are R15,000 per delegate and this includes one free GWA entry per paid delegate. The value of the GWA entry is R6,890 per entry. A second entry may be made at 50% of GWA fee (R3970).
