    Middle East Conference opens

    DUBAI, UAE: WAN-IFRA, the World Association of Newspapers and News Publishers, opened its 7th Annual Middle East Conference in Dubai on Wednesday in the presence of Princess Rym Ali of Jordan, Sheika Intesar Al Sabah of Kuwait, other dignitaries, and nearly 300 publishers, chief editors and other senior newspaper executives from the region and beyond.

    The two-day conference is built around five big themes that are essential for media companies in the modern age: social media; leadership and human resource management; innovations in newsrooms; advertising revenue generation; and the power of print.
