Red-hot Lize-Marie Dreyer wins spot in Portfolio Night All-Stars Creative Challenge in NYC

Student Lize-Marie Dreyer, of Open Window School of Visual Communications, has been announced as the winner of the inaugural Portfolio Night Johannesburg 2013 All-Stars competition. For her efforts, she will be spending a week at the Art Directors Club (ADC) headquarters, New York, on an all-expenses-paid visit, to compete in a creative challenge for winners from all competing global cities.

This week-long All-Stars challenge will see winning students from 35 cities around the world working on a real brief from a real client - in this case, Ford - while being mentored and coached by members of the ADC community. The stuff dreams are made of for creative students!

"We are so excited that Lize-Marie has been chosen as one of Johannesburg's up-and-coming red-hot creatives. On this trip she will have the chance to test her mettle against some of her peers from across the globe. The first-ever Portfolio Night to be held in southern Africa was hosted by McCann Johannesburg on 22 May. A whole new generation of creative talent had converged to participate in the event and Lize-Marie had the Johannesburg jury nodding in agreement that she is the one to represent southern Africa in New York. The jury comprised of South Africa's most talented in the biz: creative directors, executive creative directors, and chief creative officers.

Portfolio Night has been running for 11 years globally and has grown to be the biggest and best advertising portfolio review and recruitment event in the world.
