Quirk Education will host South Africa's first digitally focused week-long programme of contact workshops for the 2013 year. These half-day workshops aim to equip the local market with global best practice principles and techniques based on the working knowledge and experience of the greater Quirk agency.
While South African professionals have had access to sporadic digital workshops in the past, the Quirk Knowledge Week programme is the market's first holistic and structured introduction to every aspect of marketing a brand in today's fast-moving environment.

As the educational arm of Quirk, Africa's largest digital agency and Bookmarks 2011 Digital Agency of the Year winner, Quirk Education is able to draw on the expert knowledge and experience of a leading global digital agency to provide attendees with skills and understanding based on real-world experience.

Designed to offer a selection of different workshop topics covering key digital marketing disciplines, Quirk Knowledge Week allows attendees to pick and choose from a number of half-day workshops during the week based on their understanding of digital marketing.

By offering the opportunity to attend between one and ten workshops, Quirk Knowledge Week is able to cater to all levels of knowledge and experience.

During the course of the Quirk Knowledge Week, attendees will be able to attend up to two half-day workshops each day, gaining valuable industry knowledge and knowhow from Quirk experts in a range of digital marketing disciplines, including:
  • Content Marketing
  • Email Marketing
  • Search Engine Optimisation
  • Paid Media
  • Social Media
  • Legalities of Digital
  • Writing for Digital
  • UX Design
  • Mobile Marketing
  • Web Analytics
By providing attendees access to some of the brightest and most experienced minds in marketing, the Quirk Knowledge Week is aimed at creating an interactive forum for mutual growth and industry development in the local market.

"It's really no secret that cross industry collaboration and discussion promotes good ideas. By hosting a structured series of workshops and networking sessions, we hope to foster a culture of knowledge sharing and professional networking while offering bright minds access to some of the most experienced digital marketers around," said Head of Quirk Education, Lyndi Lawson-Smith.
