Konitek Training & Development receives recognition at ROCCI/FNB Business of the Year 2008 AwardsIssued by: Konitek Training & DevelopmentThe Roodepoort Chamber of Commerce and Industry - ROCCI 2008 Business of the Year Awards, adjudicated by the South African Institute of Professional Accountants was presented at a Gala Banquet co-hosted by First National Bank (FNB) and ROCCI on Saturday, 15 November, 2008 at Montecasino.
The 2008 Business Community Contribution Award is for support extended and training inputs provided by Konitek Training & Development toward the ROCCI SMME Development Project initiated by British American Tobacco to assist in the transfer of skills and development of SMME's within the greater Roodepoort region. This initiative has numerous partners involved from both the Private and Public sector that facilitates, equips and provides participants with skills and a holistic understanding of how to succeed in business. The participating SMME's were presented with Certificates of Achievement at the Gala Banquet. Connie Jonck, the founding member of the Company, received the Lady ROCCI Business Woman of the Year 2008 - Silver Winner award. It goes without saying that the acknowledgement and awards received would not have been possible without our valued clients. Konitek Training & Development also regard the recognition accorded as catalytic in confirming the worth of our value proposition.
