The objective of successful negotiation is the maintenance of long-term relationships. Effective negotiation plays an important role in establishing and maintaining ongoing relationships in business, and yet very few people have the inherent ability to negotiate deals that are beneficial for both sides.
The Africa Centre for Dispute Settlement at the University of Stellenbosch Business School (USB), in conjunction with USB Executive Development Ltd (USB-ED), will be presenting a new programme - Negotiating for long-term results - at the USB's Bellville Park Campus from 14 to 16 October 2008.
This programme is aimed at business owners, managers, lawyers, accountants, client relations managers, and managers in the public sector and parastatals who are responsible for negotiating tenders or public private partnerships.
