Hey!Fever's short film Tender racks up an official screening and three award nominations at the inaugural IMSFF

The Independent Mzansi Film Festival gets a little local horror flavour with the announcement that Hey!Fever's debut theatrical short film Tender is set to be screened twice at the biggest short film festival in South Africa. The award-winning production company's short film has been chosen for official selection as well as garnering three award nominations.

The nominations include:

Best Actress in a Short Film for Karin Van Der Laag
Best Sound Editing and Mixing for Jack Kaminski
The Mzansi Magic Choice Award.

A disturbing tale of young love and dark hunger, Tender was conceptualised, written and shot in 27 straight hours and was directed by Hey!fever's own Cremer Van'Dango.

The IMSFF was held at the Maxi-Cineplex in Hatfield, Pretoria and was open to the public. Tender made its theatrical debut on Thursday, 26 June and the festival awards' ceremony followed the additional screening on Sunday 29 June 2014.
