Bespoke reception interior for Pick n Pay

As part of its two billion rand investment into countrywide distribution sites, Pick n Pay recently opened its second state-of-the-art distribution centre in Phillipi, Cape Town.
XZIBIT, working closely with agency Y&R, conceptualised, designed, manufactured and installed a bespoke reception area that serves as the first point of contact for visitors to this impressive facility that has a total footprint in excess of 50 000 square meters.

Aside from the reception area being "the face" of this impressive facility and with the obvious requirements of being functional and "on brand", was the need for the area to communicate, to the visitor, the green environmental practices and latest innovations used in the construction of the centre and in Pick n Pay's drive at becoming more environmentally sensitive.

Using a mixture of natural and fresh tones coupled with large format visuals and digital content, the results achieved, left us feeling proud and importantly, our clients with a solution that exceeded their expectations, ahead of time and within budget.
