Radio showsSpecial sectionsRelated sectorsIn the news | Exhibitions company news Spectacular line-up for the EXSA AwardsThe EXSA Awards - the "Oscars" of the exhibition industry - will take place tomorrow, 21 November 2012, at Montecasino. The EXSA Awards recognise excellence for their members in both stand designs and exhibitions and thereby generates an awareness of the importance of the services that EXSA offers to clients and the various exhibitions EXSA organisers hold. The theme for this year's event is "Wheels and Heels", and was inspired by the creativity of the industry, as well as the speed required to perform many of the feats that are accomplished in record time!
There are various categories for the awards: Best Exhibitions both trade and consumer shows; and a new Green expo category; Best Stand designs for both custom and system built stands in various categories and new Green stand awards; Best Industry Suppliers, Venue and Organiser; And finally, Best Employees from Suppliers, Venues and Organisers. "There is great anticipation amongst all the EXSA members, especially those nominees for the 'Oscars' of the industry. The Green Awards will also be unveiled for the first time this year, and will I am sure become a very popular category for 2013." Sue Gannon, the EXSA GM, stated. The MC for the evening will be John Walland with entertainment from Idols finalist Tender Mavundla.
