XZIBIT provided an exhibition stand for Plasmalux (agents for Ceravision) at the Green Council Convention and Exhibition held at the Cape Town International Convention Centre.
Ceravision is a private, UK-based company supplying high efficiency plasma (HEP) light technology. Plasmalux displayed these revolutionary environmentally friendly products at the show including high bay lighting for open areas and street lighting.
The illuminaires weigh less than 20kg and provide a high quality white light in a compact form. The lamps are electrode-less and energy saving including reduced energy generation and carbon reduction of 60-70%
If this successful combination of highly efficient light and advanced controls were widely applied, it is possible that the world's total energy consumption could be reduced by 8% This equals a reduction of 800 metric tons of carbon dioxide per year.
