HOMEMAKERS salute what this day stands for and we embraced it by paying it forward to a home for the elderly close to the HOMEMAKERS' Johannesburg offices, Reuven Retirement Home in Turffontein. Each staff member brought non-perishable nutritional items and treats and we packed 300 parcels and handed them out in a 67-minute challenge to each resident. What a heart-warming experience their appreciation was, not only for the small gift but the opportunity for a chat. Madiba, you inspire us!
