Cape Town brides-to-be will be introduced to Gauteng's largest bridal show at The Women's Show when it launches the Wedding Pavilion by The Wedding Expo at their next Cape Town expo - 19 to 21 February 2010.

Hot on the heels of record numbers at the September 2009 The Wedding Expo, Gauteng's most comprehensive bridal show will be going to Cape Town as part of the Women's Show.

Amanda Cunningham, owner and director of The Wedding Expo, is delighted by the partnership that will launch this new pavilion at the Women's Show and looks forward to introducing the well known brand to the Cape Town market.

The Wedding Expo successfully puts together two of the most comprehensive and beautiful bridal shows in South Africa for Gauteng brides-to-be who ensure that they don't miss the show - sometimes visiting two shows before they make final decision. And, the Wedding Pavilion will provide just that service to the bride-to-be in Cape Town.

Peggy and Anne, wedding coordinators at the Downings Group say that with Cape Town being such a draw card to international and out of town brides, they cannot miss the opportunity to be part of the Wedding Pavilion to show exactly what they have to offer. They have a modern, fresh and creative look and will be showing the bride-to-be never before seen options.

Downings will have a state of the art 6m high clear marquee on display which is sure to attract all those brides wanting an indoor-outdoor wedding.

The bride-to-be planning her special day will be able to find her perfect wedding gown whether it is a bespoke couture gown or a ready to wear gown from bridal retail store Bride&co.

Sheron Stoop of The Fairy Factory, who is also exhibiting at the expo suggests that you need to send your invitations out at least 6 to 8 weeks before your wedding date and this means that careful and timeous planning ahead is needed to coordinate everything to perfection.

"Not only will we be launching a very special new bonbonniere (wedding favour) at the show, we will also be offering wonderful discounts on personalised printed car ribbon as well as "Something Blue" garters from the Fairy Factory Finery Collection" says Sheron.

The line-up of exhibitors will ensure that the bride-to-be can interact with the supplier and book their services immediately ensuring that her special date is not lost!

The Wedding Expo which is held at the Coca-Cola dome in Northgate Johannesburg twice a year attracts 300 exhibitors and over 12 000 visitors providing the bride-to-be with a comprehensive bridal shopping experience. The Women's Show attracted over 26,000 visitors in Johannesburg this past June and is expecting more than 30,000 in Cape Town next February.
