Mamas, papas and babas enjoy a baby bonanza in Durban
Issued by: Baba Indaba

Yeah baby, this one's especially for you! Whether you're already parents or moms-and-dads-in-waiting, the SABC Education Baba Indaba is packed with inspiration, great ideas and practical advice on how best to tackle the joyous, but sometimes arduous, task of bringing up baby.

Staged annually in Durban, Cape Town, Johannesburg and launching Pretoria in June, the Baba Indaba is South Africa's best loved, national baby and parenting expo. Loved by 77 000 mamas, papas and babas, SABC Education Baba Indaba is once again jam packed with fun and activities for the entire family. Unique show specials only redeemable at Baba Indaba will be on offer.

Huggies is the official logo sponsor of the SABC Education Baba Indaba, so watch out for all those posters and billboards that will be around Durban. This year The Baby Company brings you the exclusive Speaker's Corner. Parents and parents-to-be can listen to a 20 minute essential talk on topics such as nutrition, ADHD, Stem Cell banking and interpret the language of babies. All this free of charge for our great mums and dads.

What's more is the Rama Idea Kids Kitchen enticing our children with the activity of making their own gourmet snacks and sandwiches. Christene from Moms Little Chefs will be leading the Rama Idea Kids Kitchen with great prizes to be won.

Showcasing a variety of practical “hardware” options, from prams and baby joggers to feeding bottles and car safety seats, the Baba Indaba also provides vital information on everything from medical and nutritional products to educational tools.

But, as all parents know, it's also about fun and excitement … so make sure to explore the stands offering ideal gifts for the “baby shower”, awesome nursery furniture and accessories and totally terrific toys. There is some international products for the trendsetter parent too.

To make the experience more rewarding for friends, family and current offspring, the entertainment never stops! Twice daily the real Takalani Sesame characters stage their fun shows, while various favourite cartoon characters from Ushaka Marine World, will amuse the “little ones”. Mums and Dads can have a fantastic hands-on experience at Mangwanani Spa and also win awesome spa prizes. Come and see the unique offers and new products being launched at Baba Indaba – you will be spoilt for choice.

The SABC Education Baba Indaba takes place at the Durban Exhibition Centre from April 26 to 28 from 9.30am till 5pm. For more information go to www.babaindaba.co.za or contact Alice at S&A Marketing on 031-301 2777 or the Show Director Natalie Naude on 021-689 3262 during office hours.
