After months of strategising and hours on end of preparation during the last few weeks of the month of May into June, SSQ Exhibitions' first exhibiting experience expired in a matter of days...without a single regret. From the 10th until the 12th of June 2014, the SSQ Exhibitions team, known as the SSQuad, exhibited at Markex 2014 held at the Sandton Convention Centre in Johannesburg, and had the opportunity to engage on a face-to-face level with their target audience and suppliers.
"Attendees received the team very well, they obtained an enhanced understanding of our service offerings, and they were intrigued by our stand design," says Laurette Sibiya, Marketing Executive for SSQ Exhibitions. On their stand, the SSQuad encouraged attendees to, instead of walking away with a physical business card, rather take a picture against a graphic wall of the company's contact details, and have the team email it to each individual on the spot, in the form of a "virtual business card".
"We had the opportunity to connect with our audience, and that taught us an awful lot," Laurette continues to add. SSQ Exhibitions would like to thank the show organisers, Specialised Exhibitions, and their respective sponsors for making their experience at Markex 2014 what it became.
SSQ Exhibitions is a design and project management agency that specializes in targeted brand experiences including: Exhibition stands, mall displays, sets and stages, road shows, activations and permanent interiors.
