Experiential marketing was the perfect solution for a stand collaboration between the CCDI, Western Cape Government, Wesgro and WDC 2014 at Design Indaba.
Key messages included the celebration of design, the willingness to offer support for creatives and the Western Cape strategic action plan for design. The overall design of the stand was on trend with the use of plywood, the familiar WDC 2014 campaign yellow and the clever use of thread woven in various shapes to illustrate a holistic design system.
The stand activation resulted in a collage of pegged white paper tags from participants with answers to the question: "How can we help you?"
Visitors engaged by writing down their request and then pegging it to project case studies displayed on pegboards.
The sleek exhibit provided an opportunity for the Western Cape Government to showcased their strategy for design across all economic sectors at the show as well as networking opportunities for the public and business sectors.
