Markex Cape opens this week
On Wednesday, 26 July 2006, this year's Markex & World of Events Cape will be opening its doors at the Cape Town International Convention Centre. Running until 28 July, with over 125 exhibitors, and a tight focus on the marketing, promotions and special events industries, it will be the biggest exhibition of its kind in the Western Cape to date.
Corporate and promotional gifts and apparel, exhibition stand builders and designers, industry associations, outdoor advertising and promotions, packaging and printing, point-of-sale advertising material, print and electronic media, promotion and marketing services, reproduction and printing companies, signage, stationery, training and education - all are being showcased at this annual one-stop shop for marketing solutions.
World of Events will showcase suppliers to the special events and associated industries, including conference solutions, décor and design, event and production planners and producers, entertainment companies, staging, and lighting and audio visual products and services.
Launched in the Cape three years ago, the 2005 show demonstrated the phenomenal growth in the marketplace last year, attracting 3 967 visitors. Exhibitions for Africa, winners of the 2005 EXSA Best Organiser Award, believes that this year's show will witness yet another impressive increase in visitor attendance.
