Let us introduce you to Ricardo Gressel (he says he's pleased to meet you!).

Ricardo has excelled as a brand builder and communications agent over the last sixteen years. Originally from the US, Ricardo has developed strategies and managed successful marketing interventions for leading blue chip brands in diverse sectors all over the world.

Ricardo and The Brand Union are a perfect match due to his extensive experience on the African continent during the past 12 years in Kenya, Nigeria, Zimbabwe, Botswana and South Africa. With Ricardo's qualifications in international relations, he leverages his global experience with local African knowledge to build brands and deliver profits.

Most recently, Ricardo's career has been richly impacted by internal communication work for companies such as Africom, Kenya Power and Sun Coast Casino where he was challenged by the psyche of potential business leaders who were adverse to change. Facilitating the transformation of hundreds of employees, Ricardo has become a change agent that uniquely brings the best out of people and allows organisations to benefit from their most valuable asset.

Some of Ricardo's recent work includes content management in Spanish for Bavaria in Colombia, creative and technical support for the MTN Tour of Legends in the Limpopo region and brand engagement facilitation for Kenya Power in Nairobi and Sun Coast Casino in Durban. Since taking up residence on the continent over twelve years ago, he was responsible for launching challenger brands: Cell C, Neotel and Virgin Mobile into a burgeoning South African telecoms market.
