November 1 goes national: new offices now open for business in Durban and Cape Town

Three new appointments have been made, hot on the heels of the appointment of new general manager Katrien Kok who is based at the head office in Johannesburg.

Erica McTavish, brand consultant, heads up the November 1 Durban office and is very excited about exploring opportunities in the area, “There are not many companies like November 1 in Durban. We are quite unique in that we offer clients a complete branding package and take control of the whole process,” says Erica.

November 1 Cape Town is headed by a two-person team; brand consultants Hayley Viljoen and Devon Theron. Hayley says that although there are many promotions agencies in Cape Town, November 1 is no run-of-the-mill company, “What makes November 1 unique is that we're very service-orientated, we're not just order takers.”

Devon agrees and is very positive about the opportunities November 1 can now deliver nationally, “There is a lot of negativity about the economy but we simply have to adapt; maintaining a positive mindset breeds opportunity.”

As always, the November 1 team will focus on putting together unique, below-the-line solution packages for clients, with an emphasis on using clever ideas that are not necessarily expensive but that have the velocity and impact to engender a meaningful and lasting experience with the specific target market.

Katrien Kok, November 1 general manager, says that the new offices will mean that November 1 can more easily serve national clients on a regional basis. “November 1 can utilise regional resources to get the job done, and present the opportunity for quicker turnaround times and a substantial cut in costs, which will be chased back to the client's pocket.”
