New logo to unite brands internationally

Long-term savings solutions provider Skandia Group, which was acquired by Old Mutual plc in 2006, recently announced the rollout of a new brand, effective from January 2008, that visibly identifies Skandia as part of the Old Mutual family.

The new logo with the green branding will be rolled out over an 18-month period; by June 2009 all divisions of the group will be using it. Its design aims to reflect the group's vision of becoming the premiere open architecture investment provider in its chosen markets.

CE of Skandia and Old Mutual director for Europe Julian Roberts said: "This is the first time Skandia will have a uniform logo in all parts of the company. It shows our combined strength and commitment to deliver attractive financial service solutions everywhere we operate. We see an exciting and growing future for Skandia, and the new logo represents a modern, approachable style that reflects the group's reputation for innovation in savings and investments.”

Skandia's core market is Europe (notably the UK, Germany, Italy, France and Sweden), with plans to expand operations in Latin America.
