Silverstone and the Mobile Marketing Association (South Africa) are releasing a comprehensive mobile review and series of research reports on the South African Audience Research Foundation's AMPS (All Media and Products Survey) 2013 data, this week.

The report, which has been released annually based on a biannual AMPS survey panel of more than 25,000 respondents, provides all the comparative stats and facts to support the claim, "Mobile is the dominating advertising and marketing medium in South Africa."

The report series includes more than 60 pages of infographics, stats and insights and reveals the current state of:
    • The South African adult population's mobile audience including core profiles and penetration stats by demographic, location, LSM and digital access segments
    • Mobile access types, use, activities and trends
    • Mobile internet penetration, activities and trends compared to the Fixed Internet
    • Hard number on smartphones and tablets in SA
