An orange coastline

If you thought beaches were strictly for tanning and surfing, you may have been surprised to see the coastline swamped in a sea of orange inflatables recently. Sound Media, commissioned by Tiger Brands, transformed popular beaches into an Oros wonderland for kids this festive season.

Complete with a real-life Oros man (suited up in 32 degree heat), kids across the coastline were entertained and refreshed with Oros Fizzy stock and promo goods, winning themselves hats, beach balls and other Oros merchandise. DJ Paul Tavares kept the crowds entertained and parents were able to sneak in a moment's relaxation while their kids were supervised and captivated by the 12 metre long slip ‘n slide.

The campaign drew much interest from local media and national television shows, with two live crossings on ECR and an impromptu insert on Supersport. The activation was immensely successful, reaching an estimated 25 000 targeted consumers.
