Nampak Corrugated recognised for printing excellence

The Flexographic Technical Association of South Africa (FTASA) Print Excellence Awards, held annually, is aimed at recognising excellence in flexographic printing and converting in Africa. The awards ceremony, held at the Southern Sun JIA on Thursday 22 November, awarded Nampak Corrugated a Gold for its Arniston Bay Wine Carton in the Corrugated, coated (process) category.

The carton was recognized for its cost effective substitute for litho laminate as well as its high quality print and display features used to effectively promote the product in a highly competitive market. The judges also commended the tight registration achieved on a difficult substrate.

The Lusitania Rock Lobster and the Versus Rose Wine cartons were awarded finalists in the same category.

The awards programme provided yet another opportunity for Nampak to showcase why they are a leader in the packaging industry.
