VivoBook Flip has a 360-degree, multi-gear metal hinge that allows users to flip between laptop, tablet, and other modes. Users can enjoy it as a traditional laptop or tablet, go into tent mode to share the screen or conduct presentations, or create their own personal movie theatre in stand mode. VivoBook Flip has a lightweight design with a metallic finish. The 13-inch VivoBook Flip TP301 is available in two colours - Pure Black and Icicle Gold.

VivoBook Flip is equipped with a 6th-generation Intel Core i7 processor and up to NVIDIA GeForce 940M discrete graphics. The ‘Skylake’ architecture platform is said to give users hardware acceleration for stutter-free media playback, fast image-editing, and high-speed video-processing. Discrete NVIDIA GeForce graphics powers the VivoBook Flip's multimedia performance. VivoBook Flip TP301 features a 55Wh battery that gives it up to ten hours of battery life.

Storage and touch display

VivoBook Flip is available with a number of storage options; users can specify it with up to a 1TB hard disk drive, hybrid storage with a 500GB hard disk and 8GB solid state drive (SSD), or up to a 512GB SSD. VivoBook Flip includes USB Type-C port, which has a reversible design for fast any-way-up connections. USB 3.1 Gen 1 provides data transfers that are up to ten times faster than USB 2.0. The 802.11ac Wi-Fi delivers strong, stable signals and data transmission speeds three times that of previous Wi-Fi generations. It’s less prone to interference as well.

VivoBook Flip’s 10-point touch display has high-precision touch sensors spaced at 5mm intervals - almost half the industry-standard distance of 9mm. The large touchpad found on VivoBook Flip features ASUS Smart Gesture technology, making it easy to navigate or control applications through intuitive Windows gestures. Smart Gesture supports up to four-finger gestures in Windows 10, allowing users to switch applications, open Cortana or the Action Centre by tapping or swiping on the touchpad.

VivoBook Flip has a full-sized backlit keyboard with 1.6mm of key travel for tactile keystrokes. ASUS FlipLock locks the keyboard and touchpad when the screen is flipped in tablet, stand, or tent mode to prevent accidental inputs. ASUS VivoBook Flip Series is available from selected independent retailers.
