Graffiti helps Lead Laundry clean up with branded vehicles

The fifteen company vehicles have all been wrapped with a giant grey-white swirl depicting the washing action of a machine, along with some of Lead Laundry's top laundry equipment brands. Explains Lead Laundry Joint Managing Director, Rory Macfarlane, "The decision to brand our company vehicles was foremost an attempt to convey our brand identity - a means of conveying our corporate image to our customers. In addition to this, however, we've had the good fortune of generating a great deal of interest and awareness around the brand, with people walking up to our technicians in their vehicles to obtain our company details."

Says Graffiti Director Gavin Schlaphoff, "Vehicle branding is powerful in that it not only gives your brand an identifiable, impactful presence on the roads, but it is an active advertising tool capable of building a huge amount of interest and awareness. Not only are you able to create a public image for your brand or company by branding your vehicles but, as Lead Laundry discovered, you are actively able to generate new business leads.

Whilst Macfarlane does not yet have concrete figures to indicate just how many new business leads and service calls have originated from the newly-branded vehicles, he is confident that there has definitely been a positive impact on the business to date. "Whether it's people calling us to service their equipment or actual direct cash sales, there certainly have been a host of positive spin-offs for us through the branding of our vehicles," he elaborates.
