After many months of preparation, planning and high level negotiations with the government in Cameroon, Global Outdoor Systems found themselves in a position to present MTN with a landmark branding opportunity in Yaoundé.

MTN did not hesitate to summon Global Outdoor Systems to erect this landmark site, which would dominate the skyline of Cameroon with a towering building wrap. MTN used this opportunity to promote their brand in sight of the 2010 FIFA World Cup.

The MTN brand was leveraged onto four sides of a 19 story building in the heart of Yaoundé that is highly visible from all angles of the city and spans in excess of 7000 m2. The high visibility of this site not only stands as a mega landmark site but also forms part of an inner city beautification program.

“This is one of the largest and most prominent building wraps in Africa; it took our dedicated six-man team led by group Operations Manager Chad Hendrickse 11 days to build,” said Patrick de Robillard, the Sales & Marketing Director at Global Outdoor Systems.
